Terms of use
By using Gardens North East you agree to these terms. They are written to be read, so please do.
About the site
Gardens North East is a guide run by Gardens North East, Newcastle upon Tyne. You can contact us at info@gardensnortheast.co.uk.
Guidance, not professional advice
Our guides are general information for planning a project, not a substitute for advice about your own property. Planning rules, building regulations and prices change, and how they apply depends on your home and your council. Before you build, fell a tree or sign a contract, check with the council, the official source we link to, or a qualified professional.
We take care to keep the guides accurate and to say when facts were checked, but we cannot promise that everything is complete or up to date at the moment you read it.
Links, listings and adverts
We link to many other websites. We are not responsible for their content, products or services, and a link is not a guarantee. Some listings may be sponsored. Any arrangement you make with a business you find here is between you and that business. See how we list businesses.
Stories and photos you send us
When you send us a story or photos, you confirm that they are your own work, or that you have permission to share them, and that publishing them will not break anyone else's rights.
You keep ownership of your story and photos. By ticking the permission box on the form, you allow us to publish them on Gardens North East, to edit the story for length and clarity, and to crop or resize the photos. We may choose not to publish a submission. You can ask us to take your story or photos down at any time by emailing info@gardensnortheast.co.uk.
Using our content
The words, drawings and logo on this site belong to Gardens North East unless stated otherwise. You are welcome to link to any page and to quote short extracts with a credit and a link. Please ask before reproducing more.
Our responsibility to you
We are not liable for losses that come from relying on general guidance on this site without checking it for your own situation, or from the products and services of other businesses. These terms do not try to exclude anything the law says cannot be excluded, such as liability for fraud, or for death or injury that our negligence causes.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date at the bottom shows the latest version. They are subject to the law of England and Wales, and its courts.
